I worked in a haunted house a few years back. Not a “Let’s scare kids on Halloween haunted house”, but an “There are actual ghosts here” haunted house.

That said, I’ve been irrationally afraid of ghosts ever since. And no one can convince me to be otherwise.

That’s right sonnnn. I can swim. I can also hold my breath for over 30 seconds, and dive. I’m basically a tiny whale. A tiny, badass whale that looks like a person.

This is a kinda-related-to-archery story but I’ll take it since I have had NOTHING to relate to since Lifescouts started. I will take what I can get gosh darnit!

When I was a wee lass I used to make my own bow and arrows, climb atop the highest trees, and mercilessly shoot my brother or any “enemies” that passed by.

Now that I’m old I found out one of my family friends teaches a class on how to build legit bow and arrows from wood. Not just for show either but, “I built this and slayed a majestic buck.” I’m a little jealous. And to think I took Hunter’s Safety for nothing.
